UCD SDGs Dashboard shortlisted in Esri Customer Success Awards

University College Dublin has been nominated in the Cartographic Design Award category of the Esri Ireland Customer Success Awards for the UCD SDGs Dashboard, an interactive and user-friendly online mapping tool developed by a multidisciplinary team of students and academics.

The Cartographic Design category “recognises exceptional map design that effectively communicates spatial information through innovative and aesthetically pleasing cartography”.

Since its launch last September, UCD staff, faculty and students have been using the SDGs Dashboard to learn about sustainability infrastructure, activities and initiatives on campus. It is also being used as a classroom tool to support teaching, raise awareness about sustainability at UCD and stimulate action.

The project, led by Ainhoa Gonzalez Del Campo, was chosen as one of the finalists in the fifth consecutive Customer Success Awards, taking place on April 10th at the College Green Hotel in Dublin.
