UCD Green Week 2025, March 3 - 6: talks, walks, workshops and more
Monday, 17 February, 2025
Tree planting, bicycle repair workshops, and talks by an interesting variety of guest speakers - UCD Green Week takes place from 3 - 6 March, 2025.
This is the seventh annual celebration of our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, showcasing and promoting sustainable practices through a series of engaging activities and initiatives on campus.
This year’s packed programme of 18 events includes talks by Prof. Jennie Stephens on climate justice and the university, by award-winning journalist Sally Hayden on the human impacts of climate change, and by former Green Party spokesman Aiden Corkery on what’s next for the Greens. There are opportunities for students and staff to plant trees, attend bike repair workshops, find out where UCD’s waste ends up - and much more.
We hope you will join us as an active participant in UCD Green Week 2025. It presents a great opportunity for us to collaborate, learn, and contribute towards a more sustainable future for our university and beyond.
