UCD Sustainability launches 17 seed funding projects

UCD Sustainability has launched 17 projects funded under our seed funding programme, which itself is funded through the Higher Education Authority's performance funding.
The projects span a huge range of topics from the cardiovascular risk posed by microplastics, the nexus between art and research in sustainability, nature-based solutions for flood risk management, food choice, education for sustainability, urban hedgerows and carbon literacy.
In this short video (above), Vice President for Sustainability Tasman Crowe says the scheme represents "a real opportunity for UCD to showcase the power of its community, full of energy and ideas and a commitment to trying to address the sustainable development goals and move us all towards a more sustainable future."
