Economist Kate Raworth explains 'Step into the Doughnut' workshop at UCD

"The aim of the doughnut is to meet the needs of all people within the means of the living planet. What kind of economy would help us achieve that?"

During her visit to UCD last week for her conferring with an honorary doctorate, economist and 'Doughnut Economics' author Kate Raworth also participated in a 'Stepping into the Doughnut' workshop on campus.

This workshop, led by Roisin Markham and the Irish Doughnut Economic Network (IDEN), allowed participants to, as Kate said, engage with her economic model "in a very tangible way".
