Clothing upcycling workshops mark SDG Week on campus

The global textile industry produces more greenhouse gas emissions than international aviation and shipping combined (source: Oxfam).
To mark Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week, UCD Sustainability collaborated with community-based clothing reuse hub Change Clothes to run mending and upcycling workshops on campus. Like UCD, Change Clothes is a Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications SDG Champion 2024/25.
