This workshop will build on prior understanding of research into teaching and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). It will facilitate engagement in local and larger networks of educational researchers for peer review and support towards publication.

Prior to the workshop, participants must draft a one-page abstract which includes: Title, Research Question(s), Planned Innovation/Intervention, Method(s), and any other relevant details. The workshop will be highly interactive and participatory, and the draft will be shared with fellow participants. Ideas will naturally change and evolve; the draft is not intended to be concrete, but rather a jumping-off point for ideas.

Participants must send the draft abstract to leigh.wolf@ucd.ie - the draft must be received by October 30th or registration will be cancelled and you will be asked to reschedule. The same workshop will take place again on 10th March 2025. 

On completion of this workshop one will be able to: 

• Reflect and make detailed plans for the publication of a scholarship of teaching and learning project.
• Identify academic journals which are a match to the intended publication.
• Develop connections with peers for ongoing collaboration and support in SoTL research
