Drink Tea for MND
Drink Tea for MND
On Friday 21 June, Global Motor Neurone Disease Awareness Day, UCD in the Community in collaboration with UCD Chaplaincy invited colleagues and students across campus to '(opens in a new window)Drink Tea for MND' at a tea/coffee morning and raise funds for the (opens in a new window)Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The coffee morning was a great success and it was brilliant to see so many friendly faces from across campus! A special thanks to those colleagues who baked delicious treats and those who attended due to their involvement with Fr. Tony Coote's Walk While You Can campaign last summer.
The UCD community raised €488 for the IMNDA from the coffee morning which will hugely benefit the organisation. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who made the trip to St. Stephen's Chaplaincy for the coffee morning and in particular to Frances and Fr. Leon in UCD Chaplaincy for their hospitality.
