Class of 1983 - 35 Year Reunion

The 35-year reunion of the class of 1983 was held in the Slieve Donard hotel, Newcastle, Co. Down on Saturday 27 October 2018.  The class have held a reunion every five years since graduating, with around half the class attending on each occasion. This was the first time the event was held north of the border, and it was the best attended reunion so far - almost 40 of the 63 members of the original class were there, with some attending a reunion for the first time; the attendance really is a testament to the strong bond of friendship among the class.  Sadly, four of the class are no longer with us, but they were fondly remembered on the night. A raffle for the Irish Veterinary Benevolent Fund raised almost £1600 (€1800). It was a hugely enjoyable occasion for all involved - many thanks to Angie Drayne and Martin Fitzpatrick who organised the reunion.
