University Teaching & Learning Award for Associate Professor Emma O’Neill
Congratulations to Associate Professor Emma O’Neill who has been awarded a University Teaching & Learning Award 2021/22. The Teaching & Learning Awards scheme allows the UCD community to nominate colleagues engaged directly in teaching for an award. Between November 2021 and the end of August 2022, over three thousand nominations were received from students, faculty, and staff. Nominees were invited to apply for a College level award and following a competitive process, 87 applicants were successful. A further competition led to 12 awardees being honoured with a University level award.
Teaching Excellence Awards recognise individual faculty and staff in teaching roles for sustained commitment to teaching excellence and student learning. The awards, the highest UCD teaching and learning award, will be presented at a celebratory event in March.
