38th Annual School of Veterinary Medicine Carol Service - 30 November 2017
The 38th Annual School of Veterinary Medicine Carol Service will take place on Thursday 30 November in the UCD Astra Hall with festivities starting at 7.30pm. The Astra Hall is in the UCD Student Centre, building no 70 on the (opens in a new window)campus map. The Carol Service is a long-standing tradition in the Vet School, and our talented staff and student singers and musicians are already making preparations for this year’s event. The Carol Service brings some much needed festive cheer to all at the end of Semester 1 just before exams loom large, and this year we would like to invite our Alumni and members of the UCD Community along to celebrate with us. The event is also for a good cause, with donations collected on the evening going to the UCD Animal Welfare Fund and My Lovely Horse Rescue. Last year’s event raised a fantastic €1412 for the UCD Animal Welfare Fund and Dogs for the Disabled and we are hoping to do even better on our fundraising this year. The Carol Service will be followed by a mulled wine and mince pie reception – we would be delighted to see you there!
