Recent Awards & Achievements

Congratulations to Professors Alan Baird & David Brayden from our Veterinary Biosciences Section on the publication of their article 'Stomaching Drug Delivery' in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).  NEJM is cited more often in scientific literature than any other medical journal, and has the highest Journal Impact Factor of all general medical journals. 

Well done to everyone who contributed to the Please Talk Vet Community Garden - the project raised €131.50 for the Children in Hospital Ireland charity.  And a big thank you to the staff and students who worked so hard on the garden over the past few months, particularly Marijke Beltman, Bridget Hogg and Niamh Nestor.  We're already looking forward to sampling next year's harvest!
