Assoc Professor Marijke Beltman in Agri Aware #ManyHatsOneCAP Campaign
Associate Professor Marijke Beltman from the School of Veterinary Medicine's Herd Health & Animal Husbandry section is featured in Agri Aware's #ManyHatsOneCAP campaign. Agri Aware is Ireland’s agri-food educational body and the #ManyHatsOneCAP campaign aims to showcase the role the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) plays in everyday life in Ireland.
The campaign follows a day in the life of a number of people who make up the rural landscape in Ireland, including Dr Dayle Johnston, an Offaly native working in Teagasc Grange making waves in calf health research, rural entrepreneur, culinary lecturer and chef Edward Hayden cooking up a storm in his Graiguenamanagh cookery school, farmer Kevin Moran up before dawn in Galway to milk his dairy herd and our own Marijke Beltman talking about her work in the UCD Veterinary Hospital and on UCD's Lyon’s Farm.
