Morris Animal Foundation Scholarship for MVB Student
Congratulations to Jack Friend, Second Year Graduate Entry Veterinary Medicine (MVB) student, who has been awarded a prestigious Veterinary Student Scholar Program grant from the Morris Animal Foundation. The project Jack will undertake as part of the programme is titled 'Targeting metastatic canine mammary tumours with synergistic pharmaceutical formulations.' Dr Arun Kumar, Assistant Professor in our Veterinary Biosciences Section, will mentor Jack in this research.
The Morris Animal Foundation Veterinary Student Scholar program is a competitive programme that provides veterinary students with the opportunity to conduct mentored research to advance the health and well-being of dogs, cats, equids and wildlife. It offers students the opportunity to experience hands-on research that can impact on advancing animal health.
