On Tuesday 6th March 2025 at 3pm (Irish Time) the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine celebrated the milestone achievement of the Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Nursing Classes of 2026 as they received their white coats in UCD's O'Reilly Hall.
The White Coat Ceremony is an important event in the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine calendar as it marks the students' transition into clinical practice in the UCD Veterinary Hospital, and beyond, in the final year of their degree programmes.
The ceremony was viewed live in the following countries; Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Ecuador, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, India, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Republic of Lithuania, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States.
