- Lameness - principally orthopaedic disease in performance and companion horses, including arthritis and foot problems
- Poor Performance Examination
- Colic - including medical and surgical treatments
- Respiratory disease - including roaring, displaced palate, heaves, pneumonia etc
- Cardiac disease
- Arthroscopy - for diagnosis and treatment of joint injuries
- Laparoscopy - for exploration of the abdomen and for elective surgical procedures, including ovariectomy and cryptorchid castration
- Lacerations (cuts) - which may involve major orthopaedic structures such as joints and tendon sheaths
- Neurological disease - such as Wobblers
- Diseases of the older foal
- Reproductive problems
- Neoplasia (cancer) - which in the horse most commonly involves the skin (sarcoids, melanomas and squamous cell carcinoma) but may include internal organs (such as lymphosarcoma)
- Fractures - including small ‘chip’ fractures that may impede optimal joint function and long-bone fractures
- Endocrine disease - including Equine Cushing's disease, thyroid disease and anhidrosis
- Advanced imaging - this includes CT to aid in the diagnosis of distal limb and skull problems, digital radiography and ultrasonography to assess injuries of tendons, ligaments and joints
