Donald Bloxham is Richard Pares Professor of History at Edinburgh University and Director of Edinburgh's Centre for the Study of the Two World Wars.
Prof Bloxham is author of several acclaimed monographs, including The Final Solution: a Genocide (Oxford University Press, 2009) and The Great Game of Genocide: Imperialism, Nationalism, and the Destruction of the Ottoman Armenians (Oxford University Press, 2005).
He is also the co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Genocide Studies (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2010); and a series editor of the OUP monograph series Zones of Violence. His work received numerous awards, including the Philip Leverhulme Prize (2006), the Edinburgh University Chancellor’s Award (2007), and the biennial Raphael Lemkin Award (2007).
