Lorenzo Posocco is a Gerda Henkel Stifutung Postdoctoral Fellow and occasional lecturer at University College Dublin (UCD) and Università di Roma Tor Vergata. He is also one of four editors in the Features Section at Studies in Ethnicity and Nationalism (SEN), bulletin of ASEN, Association for the Studies of Ethnicity and Nationalism. Dr. Posocco holds a dual Ph.D. in Sociology (UCD) and Political Science (École des hautes études en sciences sociales, EHESS). He was a visiting researcher in Turkey at Yeditepe University, sponsored by The Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Turkey (TÜBITAK), and Graz University, Centre for Southeast European Studies.
Dr. Posocco’s research interests and publications revolve around the study of nationalism, cultural heritage, immigration, and climate change. His first book, Museums and Nationalism in Croatia, Hungary, and Turkey, was published in 2022 by Routledge. In 2022, he guest co-edited two special issues: Tragedy and Opportunity: Imagining the Post- Pandemic Society, for the International Social Science Journal (Forthcoming) and Beyond the Frontiers of Political Science: Is Good Governance Possible in Cataclysmic Times? For Frontiers in Political Science (Forthcoming).
