Dr Manu Braganca is lecturer of French studies in the UCD School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics.
His research focuses on the historiography and memories of the Second World War in France and Europe. He is on the editorial board of the journal (opens in a new window)Modern & Contemporary France (Taylor & Francis), an editor of (opens in a new window)H-France, and an assistant editor of the newly launched book series (opens in a new window)De Gruyter Open Culture. In collaboration with Dr Fransiska Louwagie (University of Leicester), he is currently working on a British Academy funded collaborative project entitled Ego-Histories of France and the Second World War (to be published by Palgrave in 2017).
