Marjan Schwegman is the Director of the Netherlands’ Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies (NIOD) in Amsterdam and Professor of Gender History at Utrecht University.
Her publications include a biography of the 19th-century Italian feminist Gualberta Beccari, and work on women in resistance movements against the Nazis.
