About our research

The Energy Research Group (ERG) is a multidisciplinary team of researchers and experts who are dedicated to advancing the science and technology of sustainable energy. Our mission is to develop innovative solutions for the global energy challenges of the 21st century.

Our research areas include:

  • Solar power: We explore novel materials and methods for harvesting and converting solar energy into electricity and heat.
  • Hydrogen fuel cells: We investigate the performance and durability of hydrogen fuel cells and their integration with renewable energy sources.
  • Microgrid systems: We design and implement microgrid systems that can operate independently or in coordination with the main grid, enhancing reliability and resilience.

Our research is supported by various funding agencies, such as the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and the Environmental Protection Agency. We also collaborate with industry partners, such as Tesla, Google, and Siemens.

We are committed to disseminating our research findings and engaging with the public through publications, presentations, webinars, workshops, and outreach activities. We welcome inquiries from potential collaborators, sponsors, students, and media.
