New Features
Customisable features developed to accommodate non-UCD branded websites
Custom Colour Palettes
Custom colour palettes can be applied by the Web Team. The use of custom colour palettes are subject to approval and will only be applied in cases where UCD branding is deemed inappropriate. All custom colour palettes must also be selected with Accessibility standards kept in mind. This means that there must be sufficient contrast between key light and dark colours that may be layered on top of each other across the Design Library components.
Colours need to be mapped to the existing colours and are not independently applied. This means that if a navy colour is mapped to a red colour in one area of the site, the corresponding colour mapping will occur across all other content types on the site.
For examples of additional custom colour palettes please see the image gallery below.

Custom Site Logo and Footer
Custom logos can be applied to the head and footer as seen at the top and bottom this page. These changes need to be applied by the Web team and are subject to the same criteria that limit who is entitled to an own brand site.
All footer information is editable to distinguish the own brand site from the regular UCD footer information.
SFI Banner Logo and Affiliates
To meet SFI research requirements SFI logos are now available to be applied sitewide to the banner images.
Additionally a Host and Partner Institution component is available in line with further SFI research requirements. This is also applied sitewide and can be viewed directly below this content block.
