UCD Library staff provide support for Teaching and Learning, Research and Academic Engagement for the College of Engineering and Architecture. Contact details are listed below.

Teaching & Learning Support 

I am James Molloy, the Teaching Support Librarian. I am here to help you with all library information training.

My remit includes:-

  • Provision of training in the use of library resources for College students and academic staff
  • Collaboration with module coordinators on embedding information skills training into the academic curriculum
  • Teaching scholars about academic integrity and citation in conjunction with the ethical use of information
  • Development of online resources to impart information skills in support of the College’s teaching and learning agenda
  • Close collaboration with our library collections team in identifying book and journal requirements for the schools

Research Support

I am Diarmuid Stokes, the Research Support Librarian. I am here to support you with research related queries.

My remit includes:-

  • Provides research consultations to Research Masters students, PhD students and staff.
  • Supports and advises researchers involved in Systematic Reviews.
  • Provides awareness of the services available to researchers vis-à-vis digitisation projects, GIS and mapping services, data management plans,bibliometrics, and social media for research impact and referral to other members of the Academic and Research Services team or colleagues in other units in the Library when appropriate.

Academic Engagement Librarian

I am Letshani Ndlovu, the Academic Engagement Librarian. I am here to support you with queries and any communication you may have with UCD Library.

My remit includes:-

  • Provision of regular library updates
  • Collaboration & Participation in school Accreditations and / or Quality Reviews
  • Reporting and supplying library data and information to support quality reviews
  • Attending to copyright queries
