UCD Connect

What is UCD Connect?

UCD Connect provides access to a range of College services and information without the need for multiple logins. Access is via the internet and as such, is available whether you're in College or elsewhere. For the coming academic year, 2002/2003, this service will be available to Agriculture students only. It is planned to deploy the service more widely next year. UCD Connect will be made available to College staff  and Research Postgraduates during the coming year.

UCD Connect will provide access to the following range of services:

A personal homepage, "My UCD" 

This page is the starting point for all the services provide through UCD Connect. On this page you will be able to:

- Receive notification of calendar appointments.
- Access the UCD main site, the Library and
  Computing Services sites.      
- Read announcements such as traffic, network  
  upgrades etc.
- Enter My Files where you can access your
  personal  files. 
- Use the buttons to access your E-mail, Calendar
  and Groups. 

My Courses

This page provides access to any materials posted by the course lecturer, together with access to course tools such as, chat rooms and course calendar.

E-mail

Your web based email can be accessed from anywhere in the world providing a computer has a connection to the Internet.

Calendar

Every user has his/her own personal calendar. UCD Connect also allows for group calendars.
