UCD James Joyce Research Centre
The UCD James Joyce Research Centre was established in 2006 to promote research on the work of James Joyce. It offers MA and PhD degrees in Joyce Studies and also runs a programme of activities devoted to advancing international academic exchange and public debate about the many facets of Joyce's legacy.
Their mission is to promote James Joyce Studies in all aspects of the teaching programme of the UCD School of English, Drama and Film. They particularly seek to sponsor investigation of Joyce's works and legacy at graduate level.
Through their research, publications, teaching, and academic events, they aim to further scholarship in the area of James Joyce Studies both nationally and internationally.
They work to bring together scholarship and resources on Joyce in UCD with academic and cultural institutions both in Dublin and internationally which have specific Joycean interests. The UCD James Joyce Research Centre is ideally placed to act as a forum for academic debate about Joyce for scholars from around the world and to foster fresh inquiry into his work.
