Other: | The Queen’s Juggling Club is a society which brings people together from many different backgrounds, ages and cultures. They are all united in their love of juggling and other circus skills. Do not worry if you think you can’t join because you can’t juggle because none of us could juggle before we learned! We have tutorial classes for beginners every Wednesday between 5 and 6 o’clock. These sessions will introduce you to the wide range of skills and props that are well within your grasp if you join the juggling club. These include juggling balls and clubs, unicycle, hoop, poi spinning, diabolo, flower sticks and devil sticks, staff and cigar boxes. We also do a lot of travelling around Ireland by going to the many Juggling Conventions held all over the island. By attending these conventions we can build strong links with the ever growing Irish Circus community. They are also an opportunity for us as a society to show off our skills together and also have a few good nights out. The Juggling Club is a great place to meet new and interesting people while also learning how to pull off some amazing mind-boggling tricks. It is also a good way to learn some cool party tricks which are guaranteed to amaze or who knows, maybe you could become a professional performer and run away with the circus! |
